"I met Mihai Ghyka some 10 years ago in Bukarest. Together we were dreaming about a successful, growing chapter which will become one of the most important players in the Romanian communication market. Today this is reality and internationally IAA Romania is amongst the big 10.

I am very proud having working together with such a comment, forward looking, inspirational and motivated team over the last years. Organising the European Summit in Bucharest, achieving the Golden Tulip Award for the most successful chapter of a year, contributing to the IAA School and the successful EFFIE award, it was always interesting and fun for me to help. And Romania had all the ingredients for a successful chapter: motivated chapter presidents, big players of the market on the chapter board, creating support for the industry with their website, professional training and event program and providing the communication industry with the most important network for advertisers, agencies and media. And with Felix Tataru, being Senior Vice President of the IAA and becoming its Chairman and World President in a couple of years, the future for this chapter is again very bright.

Erich H. Buxbaum a fost ales anul acesta Secretary, Executive Committee, IAA. Până să ocupe această funcție a fost Vice Președinte Global IAA. Fost Area Director pentru Europa, Erich este unul dintre primii oficiali IAA de nivel mondial care a deschis calea pentru afirmarea IAA România în lume. Erich a lucrat timp de 32 de ani în marketing și general management pentru Unilever în Austria, New York, Paris și Londra. Ca un adevărat brand-fanatic, a făcut parte din echipele care au construit unele dintre cele mai de succes branduri globale (Dove).
